Samples and Limits: This device can test monolithic batteries containing chemistry using metal ions.

Test purpose: It is used to measure the pressure that the enclosure of a battery-operated appliance containing a monolithic battery using metal ion chemistry is subjected to when the battery vents during a fault. To verify the case strength of the case on the battery.

Test Principle: Use the booster pump to boost the pressure, monitor the pressure sensor connected to the pipeline, and feed back the pressure value in real time. The control system controls components such as electric valves and pressure regulating valves to make the initial pressure of the sample reach 2070kPa±10%. Then inject the air volume required by the standard from the orifice with a diameter of 2.85±0.05mm through the mechanism. Then it drops below 70kPa within 30s.
